How does the payment plan work?
Enroll in a payment plan of your choice, and relax knowing that your future payments will be made automatically. When you book and make your initial deposit, we'll calculate even payments as you selected. (Finance fees apply.) It's that easy!
What are the advantages of a payment plan?
It's convenient. Payments are automatic and evenly divided. No chance of forgetting to pay and being assessed a late fee.
What if my balance changes?
If you selected a payment plan and your reservation balance changes (for instance, if you add a guest or upgrade your stateroom), we’ll adjust the payment amounts and notify you by email. Your payment dates won't change.
Will I get a notice with each charge?
Yes, The Charter King/BYU Cruise will email you a payment confirmation after each payment is processed.
How many payments will I have and when will they be?
The number of payments is based on the payment plan you select, either monthly or in four payments. Installments are charged on the 1st or the 15th of the month based on your selected payment plan. You will see your exact payment plan while you enroll.
Is my credit card information safe?
Yes. The BYU Cruise's credit card processing company complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS), a set of comprehensive requirements developed by the major card brands to facilitate consistent data security measures. In order to protect your information, the BYU Cruise doesn't store your credit card information, but for guests enrolled in the payment plan our credit card processing company does.
What if a credit card is declined at the time of processing?
When a credit card is declined at the time of processing, an email will be sent to guests in the cabin asking that they call in to update their credit card information within 7 days.
